The short version
FitForge stores the training and nutrition data you enter so it can show you your own history. There is no public feed, no advertising, and no tracking across other apps or websites. You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, your display name, and the password hash held by our authentication provider.
- Profile details you choose to enter: sport, goal, training experience, unit preference, height and bodyweight.
- Training and health data you log: workouts, exercises, sets, loads, reps, session notes, readiness and soreness check-ins, bodyweight entries, food and supplement logs.
- Community data: your share code, the athletes in your training circle, reactions you send, and any reports or blocks you create.
- Basic technical data: anonymous page-view and performance measurements from Vercel Analytics, and server error logs. These are not tied to an advertising identifier.
Photos
If you photograph a meal, the image is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenAI once to produce a calorie and protein estimate. The photo is not written to our database or to any storage bucket, and it is not used to train any model by us. Only the numeric estimate is saved, and only after you confirm it.
FitForge does not currently store progress photos. If that feature ships, photos will go into a private bucket that is readable only by your own account, and this policy will be updated before it is turned on.
Coach
When you ask Coach a question, your question and a summary of your recent logged training are sent to OpenAI to generate the answer. Do not enter medical details you would not want processed by a third party. Coach is not a doctor, a physiotherapist or a dietitian, and nothing it says is medical advice.
Who else processes your data
- Supabase — database, authentication and hosting of your account data (United States).
- Vercel — application hosting, logging and anonymous analytics.
- OpenAI — meal photo estimates and Coach answers, as described above.
- Apple — subscription payments, if you subscribe in the iOS app. Payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase, billed to your Apple ID, and we never see your card number.
- Resend — transactional email such as password resets.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
What other athletes can see
Nothing, until you add them. Sharing works one way: you generate a share code, and an athlete who enters it joins your training circle. They see your display name, sport and goal — not your logs, weight or photos. You can remove or block anyone at any time, and blocking also prevents them from adding you again.
How long we keep it
Your data stays until you delete it. Deleting your account from Profile → Delete my account removes your profile, workouts, sets, logs, check-ins, circle and share code immediately and permanently. Anonymous, aggregated analytics and server logs that cannot be linked back to you may persist for up to 30 days.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Deletion is available in the app. For anything else, email support@fitforge.cc and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, our lawful basis is performance of a contract for your account data and legitimate interest for security logging.
Children
FitForge is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
